Interpretation of scientific data in the Holy Quran verses

Introduction: The Precise Balance in Religious Texts

We find that the texts of the Qur’an and the Sunnah speak of a precise balance:

In the creation of the universe.

In the creation of the earth.

In the creation of living beings.

In the creation of humanity.

Addressing Misinformation in AI Programs

In previous discussions, we have pointed out that they lie to people. Even the programs they have developed, such as ChatGPT and others, refuse to acknowledge the truth.

The Emergence of Living Beings: Alignment with the Qur’anic Text

Living beings appeared 3.5 or 3.8 billion years ago, suddenly and directly after the earth cooled. This aligns with the words of God Almighty:
“And We made from water every living thing” (Al-Anbiya: 30).

The Sequence of Creation: The “RATQ” (Closure), the “FATQ” (Opening), and Water

God Almighty said:
“Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity (RATQ), and We separated them (FATAQNAHUMA), and We made from water every living thing?” (Al-Anbiya: 30).

The meaning is that the process of separation (fatq) occurred immediately. Following the cooling of the earth with water, living beings emerged.

Cyanobacteria and the Formation of the Atmosphere

Among these organisms are cyanobacteria (blue-green algae), which God Almighty harnessed to create the atmosphere. In its early stages, the atmosphere was filled with toxic gases resulting from the many volcanoes on earth, making it unsuitable for life. However, God Almighty replaced them with the gases present today, and this occurred gradually.

Interpretation of the Verse: “Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke”

This is what we find in Surah Fussilat in His saying:
“Then He directed Himself to the heaven while it was smoke” (Fussilat: 11).

The heaven was already present and existing. Then God said to it and to the earth: “Come [into being], willingly or by compulsion.” They both said: “We come willingly.”

Refuting the Claim That the Earth Was Created Before the Heavens

Based on this, there is no basis for what some religious scholars claim—that God created the earth before the heavens. This is incorrect, and we ask: where did you bring this from?

Conclusion: My Position on Taking Knowledge from Religious Scholars

In truth, I always reiterate that we should only take from religious scholars matters related to:

The jurisprudence of ablution (wudu).

Prayer (salah).

Alms (zakat).

And other acts of worship.

As for the field of science, we should not take it from them, because they cause discord among Muslims and non-Muslims alike, and with their misguided rulings, they turn people away from the path of God.
